Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently transport packages and documents to designated locations
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery
- Load and unload packages from the vehicle
- Verify the accuracy of packages and obtain signatures from recipients
- Communicate with dispatch to update delivery status and report any issues or delays
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy packages
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with navigation devices and routes planners
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Note: Previous experience as a courier driver or in a similar role is preferred is essential. Training will be provided for qualified candidates to familiarise site processes.
