Little House of Science has been offering weekly project-based school science workshops, holiday camps, live virtual classes and tutoring for over 12 years in schools and venues in London for children ranging from 4 to 13 years of age.
We are in search of part-time Science Communicators/Instructors for our weekly science classes in London for School Terms and Holiday Camps.
You need to be an enthusiastic, entertaining, inspirational, dynamic & energetic individual with a keen interest in promoting fun, stimulating science learning for children. You will be responsible for teaching and assisting our science communicators with our hands-on, interactive science demonstrations.
- You must have the following attributes: * A passion working with young children * Sense of humour to win the interest of children * Confident presentational and entertaining manner * Excellent communication skills * Have a valid, or would be prepared to get an enhanced DBS check. The following attributes are preferable but not essential as full training will be provided: * Have some experience of working with children aged between 4 to 13 * Studying and/or have a science, maths and/or teaching background * Acting or performance background
