Housekeeper
Hours
10–12 hours per week, typically worked over 5 days (approximately 2–2.5 hours per day). Some flexibility is required to meet business needs, including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.

The Village Limits is a small bed and breakfast with six high-quality guest rooms. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional cleanliness, attention to detail and a warm welcome for every guest. We are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in creating immaculate accommodation.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Rooms
- Clean and prepare all six guest rooms to a consistently high standard.
- Change bed linen and make beds to hotel standard.
- Clean bathrooms, replenish toiletries and replace towels.
- Dust, vacuum and mop all areas.
- Check for maintenance issues and report them promptly.
- Ensure rooms are fully stocked and ready for arriving guests.
Laundry
- Maintain linen cupboards and housekeeping stores.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages.
Standards
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely.
- Work efficiently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Respect guest privacy and confidentiality.
- Lock rooms securely after cleaning.
What We're Looking For
Essential:

- Physically able to carry out cleaning duties.
Desirable:
- Previous hotel, B&B or hospitality housekeeping experience.
- Understanding of guest expectations in quality accommodation.
