Location: Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.
Hybrid: Office based & Site Travel Required.
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

The Role
As an Electrical & Controls Project Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering controls and automation projects from initial enquiry through to successful completion. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal engineering teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Managing electrical engineering projects from customer enquiry through to successful project completion.
- Supporting the design, development and implementation of electrical control and automation systems.
- Producing and reviewing electrical schematics, engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Working with PLC, SCADA, control systems and safety-critical automation solutions.
- Coordinating project activities with product development and installation teams.
- Liaising with customers throughout project delivery to ensure successful outcomes.
- Supporting factory acceptance testing (FAT), system testing and validation activities.
- Overseeing installation and commissioning activities at customer sites across the UK.
- Completing customer handovers and ensuring projects meet technical and quality standards.
This role combines office-based engineering and project management with occasional travel to customer sites for surveys, installation, commissioning support and project delivery activities.

Essential Requirements
- HNC, HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Control Systems Engineering or a similar engineering discipline.
- Experience delivering electrical engineering or automation engineering projects.
- Strong communication skills and customer facing skills.
- Ability to read, interpret and review electrical drawings and technical documentation
- Excellent organisation and project management skills
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage projects through the complete lifecycle
- Full UK Driving Licence
