We are an independent garage looking for a mechanic to cover all aspects of the trade.

This position would suit a competent skilled mechanic confident in their ability. We are looking for a skilled technician who is confident in diagnosing problems and also experience using diagnostic equipment. The applicant must be able to complete all work to an excellent standard.
Responsibilities would include:
- Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and repair vehicle issues
- Perform basic services and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tyre rotation.
- Help keep repair shop clean and organised.
- A range of diagnostic work on all vehicles.
- MOT repairs and general day to day vehicle repairs.
You must be a motivated individual with the capability to work to your own initiative but also be a team player.
The successful candidate is required to have a full driving licence and providing your own tools is beneficial.
We offer a competitive salary which is negotiable dependent on experience.
Ideally working hours of 08:00am - 17:00pm Monday - Friday, however we can adjust working hours to suit the applicant.
The job will involve some interaction with customers.
Qualifications Required:
- Qualified Motor vehicle technician
- Full UK Drivers Licence
- Previous experience in vehicle repair or maintenance
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
- Knowledge of equipment repair and maintenance procedures
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service
