Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled 360 excavator operator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to assist with excavation, site preparation, and other related tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work safely and efficiently on various construction sites. Responsibilities
- Operate 360 excavators to perform excavation, trenching, and site clearance activities.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to minimise risks on site.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and manoeuvring materials using the excavator.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timeframes.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any issues or malfunctions promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations throughout all operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating 360 excavators in a construction environment.
- Mechanical knowledge to understand machine functions and perform basic troubleshooting.
- Valid commercial driving licence is preferred, with experience in transporting machinery or materials.
- Strong understanding of health and safety standards relevant to construction sites.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking a challenging position that combines technical expertise with practical application on busy construction sites.

Pay: £21.00-£22.28 per hour
