Seasonal Butcher – Turkey Processing
Location: Buttercross Butchers, Market Drayton
Contract: Seasonal (with potential for permanent full-time employment)Hours: 30 - 45 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced and skilled butcher to join our team for a busy seasonal production period.
The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing high-quality turkey steaks for our turkey roulade production. Accuracy, consistency, and efficiency are essential, as the role involves cutting approximately 2,500 turkey steaks per day to a high standard.
You will work closely with our Butchery Manager and alongside two part-time butchers as part of a supportive and experienced team.
Responsibilities
- Accurately cut turkey steaks to specification for turkey roulade production.
- Maintain consistent product quality and presentation standards.
- Work efficiently to achieve daily production targets.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
- Assist with general butchery and production tasks as required.
- Work collaboratively with the wider butchery team.
About You
- Previous butchery experience is essential.
- Strong knife skills and the ability to work accurately at pace.
- Experience with poultry processing would be advantageous.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team.
- Committed to maintaining high standards of quality and food safety.
