We are looking for an experienced and passionate Cook to join our team on a part-time basis. The role offers flexibility of between one and three days per week, with the successful candidate able to choose the number of days that best suits their availability.
The ideal candidate will have previous kitchen experience, enjoy working in a busy café environment, and be capable of taking direction well while multitasking effectively. Experience covering Front of House (FoH) duties is also preferred, but not essential.
Responsibilities:
- Follow recipes and cooking instructions
- Partake in creating specials menu as part of kitchen team
- Ensure food is cooked to the correct temperature and is safe for consumption.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies.
- Communicate with staff regarding meal preparation and service.
- Maintain allergen spreadsheet
Required Skills:
- Experience as a cook or chef
