The Lecturer in Journalism will contribute to programmes that prepare students to enter all avenues of broadcast journalism. Therefore, as our preferred candidate, you will have experience of teaching and/or knowledge of working in the journalism industry, as well as experience of production and how it contributes specific areas of broadcast journalism.
The successful candidate will teach across a range of contextual and theoretical subjects in this area, supervise projects, support the ongoing development of this provision, and may also be asked to assume organisational and administrative responsibilities at project, module and programme levels. The post-holder will also have opportunities to contribute to the Faculty’s research environment and will support student recruitment and public engagement activities.
