We are seeking a motivated Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. Duties
- Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise dental instruments in accordance with health and safety standards
- Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions, ensuring clear communication
- Support with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to infection control protocols
- Greet patients warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable throughout their visit
- Support the team with stock management and ordering supplies as needed
Experience
- No prior experience is required; full training will be provided to develop essential skills
- Strong interest in patient care, dentistry, or healthcare is desirable
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, for effective communication with patients and team members
- Basic IT skills for managing patient records and practice administration
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with patients and colleagues
