Hoebridge Golf Centre is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Greenkeeper to support the day-to-day management of our golf courses and driving range.
Working alongside the Course Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining one of the region's leading family-focused golf and leisure destinations while helping to develop the future of the site.

About the Role
As a Senior Greenkeeper, you'll support the planning, organisation and delivery of all greenkeeping operations across our golf courses and driving range. You'll lead by example, maintaining exceptional course conditions while helping to motivate and develop the greenkeeping team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting with the day-to-day management of the golf course and driving range maintenance operations.
- Maintaining outstanding playing conditions through mowing, aeration, top dressing, fertilising, irrigation, spraying, bunker maintenance, hole changing and other routine greenkeeping duties.
- Supporting course improvement projects including renovations, drainage, irrigation, turfing, seeding and path construction.
- Monitoring turf health, identifying pests, diseases and irrigation requirements, and implementing appropriate maintenance programmes.
- Operating, maintaining and caring for a wide range of modern turf machinery and equipment.
- Supporting the maintenance of the driving range outfield, including ball collection and range ball quality management.
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
- Assisting with stock control, purchasing and inventory management.
- Contributing to continuous improvements in course presentation, operational standards and customer satisfaction.
- Building strong relationships with colleagues across Burhill Golf & Leisure to share knowledge and best practice.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience within a golf course maintenance or greenkeeping environment.
- A passion for producing outstanding playing surfaces.
- Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Experience operating and maintaining golf course machinery.
- Knowledge of turf management, irrigation systems and course maintenance programmes.
- PA1, PA2 and PA6 spraying qualifications (or willingness to maintain these).
- A positive attitude with the ability to motivate and support others.
- A flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.

Pay: £34,000.00 per year
