Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, matches and specialty beverages with precision and care
- Greet customers warmly, taking orders efficiently and accurately while providing excellent service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light menu items when needed
- Manage cash register transactions accurately using basic math skills and handle customer payments smoothly
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to minimize wait times and enhance customer satisfaction
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
Experience
- Prior experience as a barista or in a customer-facing food service role is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling of beverages and ingredients
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for transactions
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, positive attitude that energizes the team and delights guests
