Role: Barback
Location: Chinatown, London
Role Overview:
Responsible for supporting the bar team by ensuring the bar is fully prepared, well-stocked, clean, and organised before and during service. This role plays a vital part in the smooth operation of the bar by managing prep tasks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring bartenders have everything they need to deliver excellent service. The Barback also helps uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and quality at all times.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Bar & Cleanliness
- Organise and manage the preparation of juices, syrups, and other pre-batch items to ensure smooth bar operations.
- Ensure adequate stock levels are available for barbacks and bartenders prior to each shift, including fruits, herbs, garnishes, spirits, syrups, glassware, and tools.
- Ensure a continuous supply of clean, polished, and dry glassware is available for service.
- Ensure the bar, back bar, and glassware storage areas are clean, organised, and fully prepared before service, including the crushed ice machine, juice machine, and waste areas.
- Monitor the workspace throughout the day for potential health hazards or regulatory breaches.
- Apply and adhere to all Food & Beverage, Health, and Safety regulations at all times.
ABOUT YOU

Strong experience in a similar role or as a bartender within a cocktail bar.

Have excellent spirits & classic cocktails knowledge.
