Andor Group specialises in Site Security and has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Security Officer to join our dynamic team.
This position is well-suited for an individual looking to advance their career within the security industry and gain hands-on experience in customer service & security at a thriving and supportive site/company.
Based on the site with our end customer, you will work closely with all areas of their company and ours to secure the site and assist with the site team in ensuring overall site security is maintained. You will help the team at Andor Group achieve agreed-upon targets and service level agreements. This exciting position offers the opportunity to progress into a bigger role, such as joining our management team through our EPS.

Responsibilities
- Greeting and signing in visitors to the site. Ensuring that all visitors to the site are provided with a first-class customer service experience
- Maintaining data stored on the system and updating as required
- Completing check calls or booking on/off calls with our control room team
- Overseeing overall site security, hoarding, access gates and CCTV as required
- Lock and unlock at the start and end of the day
- Generating time and attendance reports for operatives on site as required (Full training will be provided on access control/time and attendance software)
- Completing site administrative duties as required
Requirements
- Valid SIA Licence (Essential)
- 1-2 years of security experience in a similar company or construction site
- Proficient in using simple web applications and computers
- Good communication skills - written and oral
- Strong customer service skills
Remuneration & Selection
Andor Group has a great employee progression scheme, which has seen several members of our site team be offered positions within management or the control room team. We initially offer the hourly rate of £12.75 with a review after six months of service.
