Duties
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various properties
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete tasks accurately
- Conducting inspections to identify faults or potential issues within plumbing infrastructure
- Assembling and fitting pipes, fixtures, and appliances with precision
- Performing heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Applying basic maths for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during installations or repairs
- Collaborating with team members on complex projects requiring carpentry or mechanical skills
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and standards
Experience
- Proven experience as a plumber with a strong understanding of plumbing systems in both commercial and residential environments
- Proficiency in welding, carpentry, assembly, and the use of various hand tools and power tools
- Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing components and systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively during installation or repair tasks
- Experience with commercial driving is advantageous but not essential
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements, calculations, and problem-solving within plumbing projects
