Salary: £13.40 per hour (probation)
£13.70 per hour (Completion of probation)
£14.00 per hour (completion of personal licence qualification)
Working Hours: Shifts between 11am-12am
Days of Work: Mon-Sun, 4 days out of 7 (Minimum)

FLM leisure are seeking and experienced cook to join the busy kitchen team and will work to produce great food following all our meal specifications. The Bay Horse Inn is in the heart of Pickering and is a busy, fast paced business offering a high standard of customer service, drinks and food.
Role Overview
As the Assistant Manager of The Bay Horse Inn, you will be trained in all aspects of the business, including bar duties, waiting on roles, Kitchen Assistant and Cook’s jobs to provide you with the knowledge and understanding of each area in order to be competent in managing the pubs day to day operations. You will support the Management Partners in the daily duties and will be responsible for the business at various times. You will also be a personal licence holder or willing to work towards this qualification.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist with maintaining very high hygiene standards and safety regulations to ensure the safety of the entire team and visitors
· Ensuring compliance with licensing laws and age-verification procedures
· Ensure you remain up to date with all food hygiene and safety
· Rotating stock items as per procedures
· Complete daily, weekly and monthly health and safety checks in all areas of the business as and when required
· Leading shifts and supporting day-to-day operations as well as motivating and supporting the pub team
· Working alongside the Senior Managers to keep the pub running smoothly
· Maintaining high standards across service, cleanliness and safety
· Handling customer feedback and resolving issues calmly
· Stepping up to lead when the Senior Managers are away
· Oversee stock control and ordering supplies
· Supporting staff development through training and coaching
· Attend regular meetings with Senior Managers
