About Us
We are a professional, agile, and customer-centric business dedicated to providing high-quality vintage clothing. We pride ourselves on giving great garments a second life and delivering excellent items to our online community.
Our work environment includes:
- Casual work attire
- A relaxed, steady, and focused atmosphere
- A process-driven workspace where consistency is valued
The Role
We are seeking a reliable, dedicated Vintage Clothing Processor to join our team for the long term. This role involves a unique blend of fashion appreciation, methodical organization, and basic technical skills. It is highly suited for a dependable individual who enjoys a steady routine, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in a job well done.
If you are looking for a stable position where you can settle in, take ownership of your daily tasks, and work independently within a relaxed environment, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Sorting & Grading: Carefully examine incoming shipments of used and vintage clothing, grading them based on condition, and ensuring items meet our strict quality and style standards.
- Garment Preparation: Steam and prep selected clothing so it is clean, wrinkle-free, and ready for photography.
- Photography: Photograph each item using our in-house setup, focusing on clear lighting and composition to highlight the garment's best features and any flaws (for full transparency).
- Cataloging & Uploading: Write concise, accurate, and appealing product descriptions, then upload the photos and details to various online sales platforms (primarily Vinted and eBay).
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain both our physical stock and digital inventory, ensuring items are easily tracked and accessible for shipping.
What We Are Looking For
- Reliability & Long-Term Focus: A dependable team player who is seeking a stable, ongoing role rather than short-term work.
- Strong Eye for Fashion: The ability to identify, grade, and select high-quality vintage clothing.
- Meticulous & Detail-Oriented: Excellent attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of product listings, condition grading, and inventory records.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with digital technology, specifically online sales platforms like eBay and Vinted, as well as basic data entry.
- Basic Photography Skills: An understanding of how to take clear, well-lit photos (training on our specific setup will be provided).
- Time Management: Efficient and focused, able to manage multiple daily tasks and maintain a steady workflow.
- Physical Requirements: The ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 10 kg comfortably during the sorting and steaming process.
