About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join the Endoscopy team within the NHS. This is an excellent opportunity to support vital procedures and contribute to patient care in a busy clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clinicians during endoscopy procedures.
- Provide patient support and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
- Prepare clinical areas and equipment for each list/clinic.
- Ensure infection control and safety standards are maintained at all times.
- Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team.
Role Requirements
- Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant within endoscopy or similar clinical settings.
- Ability to manage a caseload of up to 24 patients per list/clinic.
- Flexibility to support 3 lists/clinics per day.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: £225.00 per day
Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
