Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions
- Administer medications accurately and safely in accordance with prescribed orders
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in their condition
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care instructions
- Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff
Qualifications
- Valid registration as an RGN Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Proven experience in patient care within a clinical or hospital setting
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Proficiency in medication administration and understanding of relevant safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient support
- Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively under pressure
- Commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining high standards of care
Pay: £19.50 per hour
