Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Materials Co-ordinator to join our team at Ben Whistler.
Based from our warehouse, the purpose of the role is to plan and allocate all COM (Client's Own Material) to meet agreed timescales and ensure that all necessary stock items are available.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge, Experience & Behaviours
- Responsible for Customer Owned Materials (COM) sent to the warehouse, ensuring they are correctly recorded, stored and allocated for production.
- Responsible for organising the PT-BG shipments, liaising with Logistics.
- Responsible for receiving of goods inwards purchased by BW, including but not limited to ensuring they are correctly recorded, stored and allocated for production.
- Manage the Kanban system for warehouse and workshop consumables to ensure that it is always up to date and displaying real time information.
- Undertake any other duties that may reasonably be expected to assist with the smooth running of the warehouse and to ensure that all Warehouse teams are able to perform their role effectively.
- Excellent people relationship skills to be able to gather information, inform and advise others on issues or concerns with regards to COM and Goods Inwards.
- Meticulous attention to detail and highly organised.
- Able to read and follow technical specifications and drawings.
- Good level of numeracy and literacy to be able to accurately identify item descriptions and quantities.
- Excellent IT skills and ability to understand and to keep complex records accurate and up to date.
- Presents a professional appearance and approach at all times.
- Demonstrates enthusiasm and self-motivation and a drive to develop and maintain excellence in all aspects of the role.
