Business location - Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
Due to the increased expansion of the business, new roles have been created for experienced Water Maintenance Engineers. Applicants must be professional, and have good communication skills in order to maintain the outstanding reputation we have with our customers.
Our work is mainly based around Cambridgeshire area, but can also include London, Sussex, Thetford and surrounding areas. A company vehicle and fuel car for business mileage will be provided upon successful completion of probationary period.
Duties will include
- PPMs
- Closed system sampling
- Shower head descales
- TMV servicing
- Dead leg removal
- Pipework configuration
- Monthly monitoring
- Calorifier descale
- Water tank refurbishment (including elements such as linings, coatings, lids, insulation and insect screens)
Candidate must have
Clear enhanced DBS certificate (no older than 6 months)
A full UK driving licence
1+ years experience in a similar role
Awareness and knowledge of HSG274 L8
Right to work in UK
Experience preferred but not essential
Closed system flushing (to BSRIA)
Basic plumbing
Qualifications (to be arranged by the business for the successful candidate if required)
Risk Assessment for Legionella Control in Water Systems
Asbestos Awareness
CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
Confined Space
City & Guilds – TMV Servicing (fail safe) and descaling
