Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 11+ English Tutor to inspire and support students preparing for their entrance exams. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver dynamic tutoring sessions focused on 11+ English exam requirements, including comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and writing skills
- Assess individual student needs and develop personalized lesson plans to target areas for improvement
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to keep lessons engaging and effective
- Track student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and parents
- Create a positive learning environment that encourages active participation and confidence-building
- Prepare students for exam formats through practice tests and strategic review sessions
- Maintain clear communication with parents regarding student development, challenges, and achievements
Experience
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience in English, particularly with children or young learners
- Familiarity with the 11+ exam format, content, and preparation strategies is highly desirable
- Experience working with children with diverse learning needs or in special education settings is a plus
- Strong communication skills to clearly explain concepts and motivate students
- Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching approaches based on individual student requirements
