Job Description Location: Windsor Leisure Centre
Job Type: Full time
Pay: Range from £10.85 - £12.71 (age dependent)
Job Purpose:
To provide a welcoming, efficient, and professional reception service to all visitors, members, and staff at the leisure centre, ensuring smooth day-to-day front-of-house operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet all customers in a friendly, professional manner and provide excellent customer service at all times.

Handle enquiries in person, over the phone, and via email, providing accurate information about facilities, classes, memberships, and bookings.

Process memberships, bookings, payments, and cancellations using the centre’s booking system.

Manage the reception desk, ensuring it is tidy, organised, and well-stocked with information leaflets.

Deal with customer queries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.

Support the daily opening and closing procedures of the reception area.

Maintain accurate records of transactions, bookings, and customer interactions.

Promote leisure centre services, activities, and events to customers.
-
Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures and report any concerns.

Work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Person Specification Essential:

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Friendly, approachable, and professional manner.

Basic IT skills and ability to learn booking systems.
-
Ability to work well in a busy environment.

Reliability and punctuality.
Additional Information:

This is a casual role with variable hours depending on business needs.

Training will be provided on systems and procedures.

Uniform may be required depending on the centre .
