Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team within a vibrant resort environment. Our property offers exceptional culinary variety, including three onsite restaurants (Our Food Court, Giovanni’s Italian Restaurant, and Aspects Steakhouse), a busy coffee shop, and two large function kitchens that cater for conferences, weddings, and major events throughout the year.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate chef who thrives in a diverse, fast-paced setting and is eager to develop their skills across multiple styles of cuisine and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in line with established recipes and standards
- Work across different kitchen outlets as required, including restaurants, functions, and café service
- Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness at all times
- Collaborate closely with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Contribute creatively to menu development and the creation of new dishes
- Assist with prep and service for large-scale functions and events
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role within a professional kitchen environment
- Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene regulations, and kitchen best practices
- Strong technical cooking skills across a range of techniques and cuisines
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and teamwork skills
