Overview
We are seeking a proactive and dependable CSCS Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting various on-site activities, ensuring that projects progress smoothly and safely. Your hands-on approach and willingness to learn will contribute to the successful completion of diverse construction tasks. Responsibilities
- Assist with general site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up work areas
- Support skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, masons, electricians, and plumbers in their daily tasks
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform assigned duties, including cutting, drilling, and assembling materials
- Help with the installation of roofing, plastering, masonry, and construction painting tasks as directed
- Follow schematics and technical drawings to aid in fabrication and assembly processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency on site
- Comply with all health and safety regulations, including proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Experience
- Previous experience working in construction or a related trade is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment is advantageous
- Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, or masonry will be considered a plus
- Ability to read schematics or technical drawings is beneficial but not essential
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
