Hospital Driver / Catering Assistant

Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm
- Safely transport food, medical supplies, and other necessary items between hospital departments and external locations.
- Load, transport, and deliver catering orders safely and efficiently.
- Verify delivery orders for accuracy before departure.
- Ensure food is transported at the correct temperatures and in accordance with food safety standards.
- Set up and collect catering equipment when required.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.
- Obtain delivery confirmations and signatures from customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of company vehicles.
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure on-time service.
- Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or delivery concerns to management.
- Assist with packing, loading, and unloading catering items.
- Support kitchen or catering staff during quieter periods as required.
Essentials
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- · Previous delivery, driving, or catering experience preferred.
- · Good knowledge of local roads and navigation systems.
- · Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 25 kg or as required).
