We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Huyton, Liverpool on a full-time basis, starting in September 2026.

The Role
As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum. You will create an inclusive learning environment that supports pupils of all abilities, monitors progress effectively, and promotes a love of learning. Working closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents, you will play a key role in helping every child thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Create an engaging, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports pupils' learning and wellbeing.
- Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional learning needs.
- Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, using assessment data to inform planning and improve outcomes.
- Foster positive behaviour through effective classroom management and the school's behaviour policy.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues to support children's development.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through staff meetings, school events, extracurricular activities, and enrichment opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and share best practice.
- Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are carried out in accordance with statutory guidance and school policies.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching within a primary school setting (Early Years, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2).
- A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching and assessment practices.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- The ability to differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment where every child can succeed.
- A genuine passion for primary education and helping children develop confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning.
