Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior Finance Analyst on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract to support a focused project to restructure lease records at an individual asset level. This role will play a key part in improving the efficiency, accuracy, and transparency of lease accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Create individual lease records for a large portfolio of assets
- Convert existing aggregated lease schedules into asset-level records
- Ensure consistency of key lease assumptions (e.g. lease term, payments, discount rates)
- Maintain clear documentation and audit trail linking assets, leases, and locations
- Support reconciliations to validate accuracy against existing balances
- Assist in documenting processes for future use
What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Basic understanding of finance or accounting (degree or relevant experience preferred)
- Comfortable working with large datasets and Excel
- Ability to follow structured processes and work to defined templates
- Proactive and able to work independently with guidance
