We’re looking for a Technical Chemist to join our growing team, playing a key role in delivering compliant, cost-effective waste solutions while supporting customers and internal teams with expert technical guidance.
What you’ll be doing
In this dynamic role, you’ll be at the forefront of technical decision-making, ensuring wastes are correctly classified, assessed, and managed in line with current legislation.
You will:

Assess and classify waste enquiries in line with WM3 and environmental regulations

Identify compliant and cost-effective disposal routes

Provide technical advice and support across teams and customer sites

Conduct site visits, including sampling, waste identification, and reporting

Work closely with Business Development and Contract Managers to support customer solutions

Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards

Delivering timely and accurate technical assessments

Maintaining high health & safety standards across all activities
What we’re looking for

A background in chemistry or a related scientific discipline

Strong understanding of waste classification and environmental compliance

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Confidence working both independently and with cross-functional teams

Willingness to travel to customer sites when required
Role details

Location: Remote with requirement to travel to site locations (Ideal candidate would be based in the South Region)

Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm
