We're looking for an experienced HR & Office Manager to become the operational heart of our People function. This is a varied role that combines hands-on HR with responsibility for the smooth running of our Head Office, supporting both our leadership team and employees across the business.

The Role
Reporting into the senior leadership team, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day HR function while overseeing a range of office and business administration responsibilities.
You'll be the first point of contact for managers and employees, ensuring our people processes run smoothly while helping create an organised, welcoming and efficient workplace.
What You'll Be Doing
Human Resources & Recruitment
- Manage employee relations cases alongside departmental managers, escalating more complex matters where appropriate.
- Coordinate recruitment activity from advertising through to onboarding.
- Coordinate monthly and fortnightly payroll with Finance.
- Support visa sponsorship and immigration administration.
- Administer our HR systems, including Deputy and MAPAL.
- Maintain HR policies.
- Coordinate probation and performance review processes.
- Prepare contracts, offer letters, salary changes, promotions and references.
- Maintain personnel files and HR documentation.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding across the business.
Office & Business Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day running of our Head Office.
- Manage the HR inbox and office administration.
- Administer Google Workspace and user accounts where appropriate.
- Coordinate IT onboarding, user access, NordPass, 2FA and laptop allocation.
- Manage office suppliers and service providers.
- Maintain company documentation, templates and record keeping.
- Coordinate the Bike to Work scheme and internship programme.
- Manage relationships with training providers.
- Maintain Head Office Health & Safety records and mandatory training administration.
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys balancing people, process and problem-solving.
You'll likely have:
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor, HR Manager or HR & Office Manager role.
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice, specifically in hospitality.
- Experience managing employee relations cases.
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Confidence working independently and managing multiple priorities.
- Experience coordinating payroll and HR administration.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative, approachable style and a genuine desire to support managers and employees.
- Experience with HRIS platforms (Deputy, MAPAL or similar systems would be advantageous).

Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
