Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide high-quality support and assistance to clients in their own homes. This role is ideal for individuals with a genuine interest in caring for others, particularly those with experience in assisted living, nursing, or senior care. The successful candidate will play a vital role in promoting independence, safety, and well-being for our clients across a variety of care settings. Duties
- Assisting clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Providing patient care including medication administration and health monitoring
- Preparing nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements and preferences
- Managing behaviour and implementing behaviour management strategies
- Driving clients to appointments, social activities, or errands as needed
- Assisting with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Responding promptly to emergency situations with first aid or other appropriate measures
- Supporting clients with complex needs with compassion and dignity
- Documenting care provided accurately and reporting any concerns to supervisors
Experience
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or home care is highly desirable
- Experience in care giving roles involving patient care, medication administration, or behavioural support
- Experience with PEG, Tracheostomy, Stoma, Cough Assist/Suctioning and NIV desireable but full training can be given
- Familiarity with caring for seniors or children is advantageous
- Valid driving licence preferred
- Certification in first aid or related health & safety training is beneficial but not essential
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks required by the role
- Must have a full UK Driving licence
