Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced assistant manager to heap lead our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for retail management. You will be responsible in assistant the store manager overseeing daily operations, driving sales performance, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. and solely completing duties in manager absences. This role requires effective communication and time management skills, as well as the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Duties
- Supervise daily store operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Lead, train, and develop team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer service.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering stock and conducting regular audits.
- Implement sales strategies to maximise revenue while maintaining high standards of service.
- Communicate effectively with staff to foster a positive work environment.
- Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports for upper management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.
- Promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration among staff.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to sell effectively while managing multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with sales management techniques and strategies.
