Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of communal spaces, including floors, windows, and dusk collecting areas, common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and products
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by disinfecting surfaces and waste disposal in accordance with health and safety guidelines
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are maintained consistently
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution
- Use janitorial equipment safely and effectively, including vacuums, mops, cleaning machines, buffers, and cleaning chemicals
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as required to uphold cleanliness standards
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for cleanliness and organization
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within set timeframes
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and the use of cleaning equipment
- Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and report issues effectively
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, walking and standing for extended periods
- Reliable with a positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene
- Ideally needs a car for additional work opportunities
Pay: £12.75 per hour
