Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. This position is essential in ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay, reflecting our commitment to high standards of service in the hospitality industry.
Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, and vacuuming carpets.
- Restock room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens to ensure guests have everything they need.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department promptly.
- Ensure that all public areas are kept clean and tidy throughout the day.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for both guests and staff.
- Assist with laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens to designated areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues professionally.
