We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, HGV Fitter, or Commercial Vehicle Technician to join a modern, well-equipped commercial vehicle workshop in Exeter.

- Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and trailers to the highest standards

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using modern diagnostic equipment

Conduct routine inspections, Planned Maintenance Inspections (PMIs), and preventative maintenance

Prepare vehicles for MOT testing, ensuring full compliance with DVSA standards

Accurately complete job cards and all required workshop documentation

Work efficiently to maximise vehicle uptime and operational availability

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment

Collaborate effectively with colleagues to deliver high-quality workmanship

- Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance qualification or equivalent

Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, HGV Fitter, or Commercial Vehicle Technician

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities

Experience maintaining HGVs and commercial vehicles

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship
- Full UK driving licence

IRTEC accreditation

HGV Class 1 licence

Experience within manufacturer or dealership environments
