The Role
We're looking for an experienced Financial Inclusion Manager to lead and shape our approach to financial inclusion, income maximisation, debt support, energy cost management, employment initiatives and customer wellbeing.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by developing innovative services, influencing strategic direction and leading high-performing teams that help customers thrive.
Reporting to the Regional Director (Central), you'll lead our Financial Inclusion service, including two EMA Managers and the Debt & Energy team, playing a key role within the wider leadership team.
What you’ll do
As Financial Inclusion Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of HPG's financial inclusion strategy, ensuring our services support customers to:

Maximise income and access welfare benefits

Improve budgeting skills and financial resilience

Manage debt sustainably
-
Navigate cost-of-living challenges

Access employment and digital opportunities
-
Sustain tenancies and prevent homelessness
-
Improve energy efficiency and reduce energy-related hardship
You'll work collaboratively across the organisation and with external partners to deliver impactful services, secure funding opportunities and establish HPG as a recognised leader in financial inclusion across our region.
About You
We're seeking a collaborative and inspirational leader who can balance strategic thinking with operational delivery.
You'll bring:

Significant experience in financial inclusion, money advice, debt, welfare benefits or a related field.

Proven leadership and people management experience.

Strong stakeholder management and partnership-building skills.

Experience developing and delivering strategic plans and service improvements.

Strong knowledge of employment initiatives, financial resilience, debt management and energy affordability challenges.

Experience working at pace and managing complex priorities.
