Expect High Volume, busy rushes - if you like working in busy environments this role is for you , if you aren't used to high volume - this role is not for you.
Evening availability is essential for landing the role! must be able to do 2 closes a week - with shifts ending around 12:30-1am
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages, mocktails with precision in line with our specs.
- Engage with customers warmly, taking take away orders accurately and providing friendly service throughout their visit.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, ensuring all food safety protocols are followed diligently
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as cutting garnish.
- Restock supplies regularly to ensure the barista station is fully equipped for busy periods and being able to work as part of a team
- Follow health and safety guidelines consistently to uphold food safety standards and ensure a safe environment for all
Skills
- 1 year proven barista experience that use authentic barista made coffees - no bean to cup machines or Automated coffees, with a passion for crafting quality beverages and delivering excellent service.
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and best practices in handling food and drinks
- Ability to serve customers courteously while managing multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing inventory levels
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours without compromising quality.
- Experience in food preparation and maintaining cleanliness in a fast-paced setting is preferred
- Excellent communication skills to connect with customers and team members effectively

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
