We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Nursery Assistant to join our childcare team. Responsibilities

- Help maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging social interaction and emotional development.
- Collaborate with senior staff to plan and implement age-appropriate educational programmes.
- Support children's individual needs through personalised care and attention.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as record keeping and updating children's progress reports when required.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's activities and development.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages.
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to children's individual needs.
- Ability to engage children through creative activities and educational play.
- Welsh Language skills - Would consider a keen learner
