Front of House Manager
At Hunton Park Hotel
This role would appeal to an experienced Reception Manager, Reservations Manager or Reception Supervisor, who is eager to help shape and drive the future strategy and direction of this growing business.
This role requires someone with high standards and attention to detail as well as drive, tenacity , initiative and strong commercial awareness who can lead and develop a sales and service culture within a diverse team. You will like motivating people and enjoy the buzz of hotel, where no two days are the same.
The Role:
- Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.
- Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
- Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility, and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
- Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations
- Implement dynamic operational working procedures, to support the delivery of service excellence
- Strong detail analysis of service delivery and identify continuous improvements
- Creating reservations both individual and group bookings.
The Candidate:
· Complete a service briefing at the beginning of each shift and a handover at the end of each shift
· Assist with the motivation, Learning & Development of all team members through daily and weekly communication and regular job chats with all members of the team
· Build productive working relationships with guests and staff through maintaining a high profile within the workplace
· Responsible for the team and guests in the absence of the department Manager
· Ensure clear and accurate communication between departments to allow all requests to be met on time and to the expected standard.
· Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the department.
· To assist & co-ordinate the team tasks on a daily & weekly basis, so that all guest requirements are met to the required standard and on time.
· Create a supportive, fun and creative working environment developing talent and demanding a quality and standard driven approach throughout each and every member of the team
· Ensure that all team members are wearing the appropriate clothing for their role and maintain a high standard of personal grooming
· Ensure all legislative training is adhered to and carried out effectively and efficiently.
· You will be well organised and detail orientated
· Have a flexible approach and be able to adapt quickly to change.
Must Haves:
·Front Office management experience
·Understanding of hotel operations
·Understanding of Health and Safety legislation
·High level of IT proficiency
·Excellent grooming standards
·Ability to work under pressure
·Experience at training, coaching and developing teams
·High level of commercial awareness and sales capabilities
·Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
·Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £32,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
