SemaPen, as sister company to Phoenix Health, are leading providers of specialist bariatric and weight-management services. We have a mix of private and NHS patients who require support prior to and during our weight management programmes.
Our clinically led weight management programmes offer non-surgical, evidence-based support including giving patients access to GLP-1 medications and expert clinical oversight.
About the Role
We are looking for someone who is highly organized to support our growing service. Working as part of a small team, you will be a key point of contact for patients, clinicians and external partners, ensuring that each patient receives a seamless, supportive and high-quality experience throughout their treatment journey.
Key Responsibilities
· Managing incoming referrals
· Acting as a main point of contact for patients, providing guidance and reassurance
· Scheduling appointments and managing clinic diaries
· Handling telephone calls, emails and patient enquiries
· Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
· Liaising with clinicians, pharmacies and other third parties
· Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the service
Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
· Previous experience within a healthcare administration role
· Experience of managing multiple mailboxes
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong organisational and time management skills
· High attention to detail and accuracy
· A professional, compassionate and patient-focused approach
· Confidence using IT systems including patient record systems, multiple mailboxes and Microsoft Office
· The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, regulated environment
· A proactive, flexible and reliable attitude
Desirable
· Experience working with NHS or private healthcare services
· Knowledge of GDPR and patient confidentiality requirements
· Working under a governance structure either in healthcare or something similar
