⭐ Role Responsibilities – Service & Repairs Engineer
As a Service & Repairs Engineer, you will:
- Carry out annual boiler servicing and landlord gas safety checks across social housing properties.
- Attend reactive breakdowns and repairs, diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently.
- Complete repairs to domestic boilers, central heating systems and associated appliances.
- Carry out detailed fault finding and diagnostics to identify issues and achieve strong first-time fix rates.
- Replace faulty components and carry out remedial works where required.
- Ensure all appliances and heating systems are operating safely and efficiently.
- Complete all relevant paperwork and update job information accurately using company systems.
- Identify any additional defects or works required and report these accordingly.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and compliance.
- Provide excellent customer service when working within residents' homes.
- Manage your daily workload effectively while working independently across Lewisham.
⭐ Ideal Candidate
- Valid ACS and relevant domestic gas qualifications.
- Gas Safe Registered.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Previous experience in domestic servicing, breakdowns and repairs.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Experience working within social housing is highly advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently within occupied properties.
