We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with powder tanker and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. This role involves transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations.
Duties
- Operate powder tanker for the safe transportation of goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is roadworthy.
- Load and unload cargo securely.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policy.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road, prioritising safety at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations.
- Familiarity with a Mixer lorry operations is highly advantageous.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Strong organisational skills to manage delivery schedules effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
