The Product & Proposition Director is responsible for defining and delivering the commercial strategy that drives growth, profitability, and competitiveness across Post Office Insurance’s (POI) product portfolio. This role leads the development, optimisation and in-life performance of all insurance propositions, ensuring they meet customer needs, deliver fair value, and support POI’s commercial ambitions.
The Director acts as the commercial engine of the business identifying revenue opportunities, strengthening insurer partnerships, improving product economics, and ensuring propositions are differentiated, scalable and commercially sustainable. This role sets the strategic direction for portfolio growth and works cross-functionally to ensure strong commercial execution across all channels
The Product & Proposition Director is required to proactively participate in the development and delivery of functional strategy and commercial objectives, always modelling appropriate leadership behaviours and demonstrating a customer first mindset. They will ensure all commercial decisions align with Consumer Duty, customer fairness and POIs conduct risk standards.
