Work Wales are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Senior Operative-Labeller to work with one of our esteemed clients in Cross Hands. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying product labels, sleeves, and outer case labels to ensure they meet food safety and legal requirements.
This role would be a great opportunity for either a General Operator with extensive experience in food production looking to take the next step in their career, or someone with relevant experience in a similar role.
Duties:
· Set up labelling machines and cross-reference label numbers against price sheets, product specifications, allergen lists, and date-coding schedules.
· Conduct first and second label checks before and during production runs.
· Complete process sheets and sign off on production runs by securing final labels.
Experience:
- Proven experience in a production or labelling environment, ideally within food manufacturing or similar sectors
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions meticulously
- Great communication skills
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and their application in food safety management systems
- Demonstrated commitment to quality assurance practices and attention to detail in fast-paced settings
