Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team at Paper Moon Nurseries in Sutton in Ashfield, 4 hours a day (6pm-10pm). In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our nurseries, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for children and staff. Your contribution helps us uphold our commitment to providing reliable and trustworthy childcare services.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning duties to maintain hygiene standards in all nursery areas.
- Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies effectively.
- Ensure all surfaces, toys, and facilities are sanitized regularly.
- Follow health and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management.
- Maintain cleaning records as required.
- Support the team in creating a welcoming environment for children and parents.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards related to cleaning.
- COSHH experience
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Good attention to detail.
- Reliable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic.
- Previous experience working in childcare settings is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to company policies.
