We are seeking a Pharmacy Counter (Healthcare) Assistant at Lords Pharmacy who is motivated, enthusiastic and flexible to work in our pharmacy for an average of 40 hours per week (Monday – Sunday).
We are looking for a hire as follows:
Monday:12pm - 9pm
Wednesday: 10am - 7pm
Thursday: 9am - 5pm
Friday: 12pm - 9pm
Sunday: 9am - 7pm
Hourly Rate: Will meet National Living Wage Requirements. Salary will be dependent on experience.
Pharmacy Assistants core duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Driving sales. This is a key feature of the job whereby candidates need to be motivated to upsell, link sell and enjoy a challenge.
- Promotion and sharing of Pharmacy NHS and Private services.
- Enjoy helping customers across the medicine counter.
- Participating in the Healthy Living promotion and pharmacy services so our clients get the best experience.
- Promote and deliver blood pressure services by actively encouraging patients to have their blood pressure checked within the pharmacy.
- As the first point of contact for clients, except prescriptions at reception and direct to the dispensary to process.
- Organise product displays and arrange all ordering and stock for the shop floor.
- Maintaining shop cleanliness, date checking.
Sales driven, promptness, patience, trust and excellent communication and listening skills are all valuable attributes.
