Redwood Tree Services is a well-established, ARB Approved Contractor with over 40 years of experiencedelivering professional tree surgery and arboricultural services throughout Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire.
We’re looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking Ground Crew / Arborist to join our growing team. Whether you’re already experienced or looking to develop your career in arboriculture, we’d love to hear from you.
You’ll work alongside experienced arborists on a wide variety of domestic and commercial tree projects, using modern equipment while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.
Your Responsibilities
· Assisting climbing arborists during tree surgery operations
· Operating chainsaws, wood chippers and stump grinders safely
· Processing timber and clearing brash
· Carrying out hedge cutting and general grounds maintenance
· Maintaining a safe, tidy and efficient work site
· Loading and maintaining vehicles and equipment
· Delivering excellent customer service on every job
What We’re Looking ForEssential
· NPTC/LANTRA Chainsaw qualification
· Experience operating wood chippers and stump grinders
· Full UK driving licence
· Reliable, punctual and self-motivated
· A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
· Commitment to safe working practices
Desirable
· Previous experience within tree surgery or arboriculture
· Additional NPTC qualifications
· Trailer licence (B+E)
· Emergency First Aid at Work qualification
