We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Driving Range Attendant to help ensure our practice facilities and wider Club grounds are maintained to a high standard.
The role is primarily responsible for the daily operation and presentation of the driving range and practice ground, alongside a variety of general duties around the clubhouse and course.
Main responsibilities
- Collecting range balls using the range collection equipment.
- Washing and preparing range balls for use.
- Setting up the practice ground each day, including positioning baskets, signs and other equipment.
- Keeping the driving range, practice ground and surrounding areas clean, tidy and well presented.
- Monitoring ball stocks and ensuring an adequate supply is available throughout the day.
- Keeping the Club’s buggy fleet clean, tidy and ready for use.
- Reporting any damaged equipment, buggies or maintenance issues.
- Ensuring the car park and clubhouse surroundings are free from litter.
- Emptying external bins each day.
- Assisting with other practical duties around the clubhouse and golf course as required.
Shifts
- Each shift is 6:30 am - 9:30/10:00 am
- Weekday and Weekend shifts available
About you
The successful candidate will be:
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Practical, organised and willing to undertake a varied range of duties.
- Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions.
- Physically capable of carrying out manual tasks, including lifting and moving baskets of golf balls.
- Friendly and helpful when dealing with members, visitors and colleagues.
- Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Previous experience of working at a golf club is helpful but not essential, as training will be provided.
Pay: £11.00-£12.71 per hour
