Overview
We are looking for a motivated and organised HR professional to join our People Services team on a fixed-term basis, providing maternity cover. This is a varied and engaging role offering the opportunity to play an important part in supporting our people throughout the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to ongoing employee support and offboarding.
Working closely with the People Services team, you will be at the heart of the day-to-day delivery of our people processes, helping to ensure that employees and managers receive an efficient, responsive and professional People service. You will have the opportunity to build your HR experience across a broad range of activities, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, absence administration, people reporting, employee records and engagement initiatives.
This role would suit a proactive and organised HR professional who is confident working across a range of People Services activities and takes pride in delivering a high-quality service. You will be trusted to handle confidential information, maintain accurate people systems and documentation, and play an important role in supporting a positive employee experience. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to People projects and initiatives in a fast-paced, supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of People Services across the employee lifecycle, providing accurate, timely and professional administrative support.
- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding activity, helping to create a positive and well-organised experience for candidates and new starters.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, HR systems, documentation and People Services information.
- Support absence management processes and contribute to people reporting, trackers and data summaries.
- Provide responsive day-to-day support to the People Services team, including coordinating meetings, preparing documentation and responding to People-related queries.
- Support employee engagement activities, People projects and team initiatives that contribute to a positive employee experience.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately and work in line with company procedures, Quality Management and Information Security Management Systems.

- Experience of working in a People Services / Human Resources position
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- A strong understanding of confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive information
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
- Strong ability to prioritise and manage competing demands effectively.
