The Tile and Bathroom Company are looking for a friendly, organised, and customer-focused Bathroom Showroom Assistant/Administrator to join our team. This is a heavily customer-facing role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and delivering excellent service.
The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming customers into the showroom, assisting with enquiries, supporting the sales process, and handling a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the showroom. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a professional, approachable manner are essential.
As part of this role, you also have the opportunity to earn additional income through our fantastic commission structure.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly as they enter the showroom and assist them with their inquiries.
- Provide detailed information about products and services, ensuring customers understand their options.
- Utilise upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Handle transactions accurately and efficiently, including basic maths calculations for quotes and invoices.
- Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve showroom targets and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Liaising with company Director to organise appointments.
- Effectively dealing with customer issues i.e snagging and remedial work.
- Supporting the sales design team on different tasks i.e ordering and missing items.
- Dealing with in showroom customers selling products for 'supply only'. This gives you the potential for much higher earnings.
- General administrative roles.
Requirements
- Proficiency in English is essential.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
- Experience in a sales or customer service role is preferred, particularly in a retail or showroom environment.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and providing quotes accurately.
- Efficiency under pressure through excellent organisational skills is a must.
